It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Ada B. Bryan, who left this world peacefully on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at the age of 87, while a resident at Cortland Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Cortland, NY.
Ada was born in Lisle, NY on February 27, 1938, the daughter of the late Merton and Emma Ryder Livermore. Ada was a lifelong resident of the area, where she created lasting memories and friendships.
Ada's life was filled with warmth and kindness, traits she shared generously with her family and friends. She was a beloved mother to her children: Kathy (John) Straight of Newfield, Robert (Pearl) Bryan of Marathon, Richard Carl Bryan of Marathon, Lisa (Danny) Warren of Binghamton, Dorothy Sturdevant of Ocala, FL, and the late Bonnie Bryan and Cindy Caughey. She also cherished her role as a grandmother to 15 grandchildren and delighted in the joy of numerous great-grandchildren, each of whom she held dear to her heart.
A lover of simple pleasures, Ada found happiness in playing solitaire, often immersing herself in the game during quiet moments. Her home was a sanctuary of love, where countless memories were made and stories shared.
A graveside service to honor her life will be held on Friday, June 27, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at the Center Lisle Cemetery in Lisle, NY. Family and friends are invited to gather to pay their respects and celebrate the life of a remarkable woman who touched the lives of many.
Ada B. Bryan will be dearly missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of those she loved so deeply.
