Charles Wallace Leet, 95, of Marathon, NY, went to be with the Lord and his beloved Patty on Tuesday, May 5, 2026.

Born July 30, 1930, Chuck was predeceased by his parents, Newton and Mary Smith Leet, and his wife of 26 years, Patricia Jane Suffolk Leet.

Chuck owned and operated his own business, “Chuck’s Body Shop and Towing” back in the late 50’s, 60’s, and 70’s. In the 80’s he transitioned to his real love of raising beef cattle. He was a farmer at heart and loved every minute of it. At the same time, he drove truck part time for Redding Hunter, Inc. in Cortland.

He is survived by his daughter, Sherri Beebe, of Cortland and his son, Larri (Cheryl) Leet, of Marathon. He also leaves behind a step-daughter, Penny (Gaius) Carter of Midland, NC; grandchildren, Eric (Jessica) Leet, Megan (Brad) Potter, Gaius N. Carter and Zacharia Carter; and great-grandchildren, Kendyl Potter, Levi Leet and Emily Leet.

Funeral services for Chuck will be held at the Marathon Memorial Chapel, 4071 State Route 221, Marathon, NY, on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. with Tom Boice officiating. The family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the start of the service at 12:00 p.m. Burial will be in Parker Street Cemetery, Lapeer, NY.
