Clifford S. (Mike) Tottey, 84, passed away on January 1, 2026, at his home in East Berkshire, NY, with his family by his side.
Mike was born on July 11, 1941, and lived in Richford, NY for much of his life. Mike grew up with a passion for hunting and fishing, which he shared with his family and friends. He was employed by Ithaca Gun as maintenance foremen for 40 years and retired in 2005. He was a jack of all trades: electrician, carpenter, nurserymen, custodian, produce clerk and handyman. Mike was a hard-working man with a great work ethic. He enjoyed having dinners with his family, playing a good game of pitch, talking about his hunting excursions, and chatting about the many fishing trips taken with his buddy Roy.
Mike is survived by his wife of 53 years, Linda (Campbell) Tottey; sisters: Arlene Tottey Paul Ronk of Florida, Beverly Brown of Richford, Charlotte Arthur of Virginia; brothers: Thomas (Cindy) Bosley of Richford, William (Kate) Bosley of Virginia; daughters: Christine Tottey of Berkshire, Roseanne Forkey of Whitney Point, Laurie Tottey of Lansing, Brenda Tottey of Richford, Pamela (Rockland) Cunningham of Richford and son Michael Tottey of Berkshire, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Mike is predeceased by his parents Doris and Thomas Bosley, Sr.; brother Delbert (Pat) Tottey and granddaughter, Samantha Tottey.
Per Mike’s wishes, a Celebration of Life will be held later this spring when the area he loved is blooming and full of life. Expressions of sympathy may be directed to a charity of one’s choice.
