Denise L. Contri

Denise L. Contri, 65, of Marathon (Freetown), NY, died on Friday, March 22, 2019, at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Syracuse, NY, after a hard-fought battle with ALS.

Denise was an avid horse woman, farmer, and animal lover, who also loved her casino trips.  Denise was born in Long Island, NY.

She leaves behind her husband of 33 years, Bill, and her son, Chad.  Denise is also survived by her father, James Munro, her mother, Gloria Hickson, and her siblings, Linda (Randy) Northrup, Buzzy (Cheryl) Munro, Moe (Diane) Hickson, Bonnie (JR) Bonham; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her sister, Sherry Hickson.

At her request, there will  be no services  at this time.  A Celebration of Life will be held on her birthday, June 15, 2019.  More information will be provided at a later date.
