Roy Chambers, 77, of Marathon, NY, passed away on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at his home.

Roy was born in Cincinnatus, NY on January 4, 1949, the son of the late James and Louise Chambers.

Roy enjoyed hunting, riding his 4-wheeler, listening to his records and watching crime shows. As a hobby, he also collected toy Hess trucks.

Roy is survived by his wife, Lindamay Chambers, sisters Florance Green, Rosie Hall, and Bertha Little. He also leaves behind 23 nieces and nephews, and 19 great nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Roy is predeceased by his brothers Bobbie Chambers, James Chambers, Ray Chambers, Tim Chambers, Doug Chambers Jr., and James Chambers Jr. and his sister, Phyllis Young.
